Welcome to the online Registration System for the Life of Mine (LOM) – Maintaining Sustainability Through Geoscience online symposium, May 15, 17, 19, 22, and 24, 2023. The theme of the event is the “Role of Geoscience in Mine Site Regulation, Running, Rehabilitation, Re-purposing, Retirement and Reclamation”. 

 

About the Event:  The Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS) and the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) are convening an online virtual platform symposium - a global event open to the global mining geoscience and engineering community, over 5 days. Each day will consist of 5-6 hour sessions over a four day period.  The event will be recorded for the convenience of later viewing by all who register for the event. 

 

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made via email, lifeofminesymposium@gmail.com. Refunds will be issued 4-6 weeks after the close of the Symposium. A $50 processing fee will be applied for cancellations received at least 30 days prior to the start of the Symposium.  A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations received between 14 and 30 days prior to the start of the Symposium. No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the start of the Symposium.

 

Reduced registration rates are available for those in International Low-GDP countries. Prior to registering via this online form, contact Symposium Manager, Heather Clark (lifeofminesymposium@gmail.com) to see if you qualify for the discount.

 

Complimentary Registration is offered to all Presenters. Each Sponsor package comes with a specified number of complimentary registrations for Sponsor nominated registrants.   

 

Logging In: Registration will be via EEGS website payment facility. If you have registered at the www.EEGS.org web site (by entering your email address and setting a password – this does not constitute joining EEGS), log in below.  If not, follow the procedure under New Users.  (Membership in any organization is not required to log in and use this form to register sign up for the Life of Mine Symposium.)  All registrants will have the option to choose or opt out of receiving email updates on the Life of Mine Geoscience event.
